Hello again Les, I thought that this site was for members of 3 Queens to keep in contact with their comrades and the ‘Orange Lilly’ site was for The Royal Sussex (Hence the name Orange Lilly) or am I wrong?
Do we know why the Queens chaps do not use this site??
Happy Christmas Les to you and yours.

    " The Last Post"
Did any of you watch the Program on the TV Sunday "The last post" It is about the Military in ADEN in 1965 when we were there, The whole thing was Completely Wrong The Place, the Vehicles, and the way they think the army was out there, total crap, the only thing that might be right was Officers shagging each others wives, the rest was a farce, it is on every Sunday for a while, I will watch the next one and if it is not Right I will Write to the BBC and Complain as should every Soldier that was out there, Who ever wrote the script never even researched it at all, If you see it, what are your thoughts on it. ??
    Take care

Hi Chris very good to hear from you. Les is quite right in that the MAIN site for messages is on his 'Orange Lily' site whereby all of us now place messages etc. This site is still running but all lads now look at the 'Orange Lily' site. If you will be so good as to go on that site, and state what you have written here about photo's etc (in detail please) then I am quite sure you will get replies.
    Many Thanks.

    Chris Message (Wednesday, 20 September 2017 11:25)

Have I missed something as there seems to be a kerfuffle about picture from the Lewes 2017 reunion.

Friendships developed over more than 50 years are something to be proud of and it is somewhat upsetting to witness discontent among certain comrades.

I hope I have got the wrong end of the stick and someone will enlighten me.

Lyn, You are right - Albert should put all his articles together in a book or something. I would buy a copy.
My Doctor just wrote her first book "The Lost Treasure of Malta" It's really quite good with some history that I didn't know about.
All proceeds from the book go to the Ontario chapter of the Order of St John which she and her husband help run.

I have had mail from Dave Tonks. He has allowed me to place this message on our site. Not long ago Dave had to call an Ambulance in the early hours to get him to Hospital. He had a 100% blocked artery and another at 80%. He then underwent a triple bypass. He spent 3 weeks in Hospital. He is now making a slow recovery. He lives in N.I.
I am quite sure we all wish him a speedy and safe recovery.

I totally agree with all 'Apples' has said. John was really a quite lovely gentle person, and I spent many an hour in conversations with him. I am afraid lads that as we get older, and health issues become more obvious, then a few more names of those we knew will pass away. Rest in Peace John, and thank you indeed for all those quite lovely memories.!

They have to be in an armoury even though they will never be used
again (rules). Other than that weare just waiting for the garage to be cleared so that Eastbourne council can move thecolection to Brighton
